How to refund a digital purchase: If you need to refund a digital track or album purchase, just contact our Support Team directly with the fan’s email address and Bandcamp payment ID. Once a refund is issued, they’ll no longer have the option to download or stream that release.
How to refund a physical order: For orders placed within the last 180 days, you'll find the option to refund on your Merch Orders page. Just search for the email, last name, or Bandcamp payment ID for that order, then find the "refund this order" link to the right of the order details. Your revenue share will automatically adjust to reflect the refund. When refunding physical orders, you will also be given the option to return the item to your inventory.
For orders older than 180 days, you'll need to manually refund the fan using a service like PayPal's "Send Money" feature. Once completed, you can contact our Support team with proof of the refund. IN most situations, we'll be able to adjust your revenue share to reflect the refund.
A fan opened a dispute over a merch order. What should I do?: Once a dispute or claim has been filed against an order, it will not be possible to issue a refund through Bandcamp. For more information on how to handle disputes, check out this page.
