Can I schedule more than one Listening Party for my album at a time?
Not yet. Currently, it’s only possible to schedule one event per album at a time. To schedule another event for the same album, you have to wait for the existing event to pass.
Do I have to start the playback of the album at show time?
Nope, we’ll take care of that.
Do I have to show up to my Listening Party, or will it go on without me?
Technically no, but why not show up to your own party?
Can I pause/stop/skip tracks during a Listening Party?
You won’t be able to pause, stop, or skip tracks in a Listening Party. Our goal is to make hosting your Listening Party as simple and hands-off as possible so you and your listeners can fully focus on the music. While you won’t be able to bounce around songs, you can bask in the excitement of the chat and engage in conversation with your fans.
Can I selectively include/exclude certain tracks played in the Listening Party?
Currently, you can't exclude tracks from the album in your Listening Party. All tracks uploaded and published with the album will be included and played during the party, including bonus tracks.
Can I schedule a Listening Party for a standalone track or a private album?
No, Listening Parties are only available for public albums on your Bandcamp page. You won’t be able to schedule one for a private or subscriber-exclusive album or for any kind of track.
Can I customize the color scheme of my Listening Party?
The look and feel of your Listening Party is automatically based on the album art. We use the album artwork that’s uploaded in the album editor as the main image in the Listening Party. This is also the image we use to generate the gradient used as the background. This means that you can’t customize the design, look, or feel of your listening party without changing the album art associated with the album.
Can I turn my video camera on during a Listening Party?
Listening parties focus on your album’s audio. If you’d like to use video, your best bet is to use Bandcamp Live.
