In order for your sales to be included in the reports, they need to fulfill a few conditions. First, for each album destined for the charts you’ll need to enter a valid UPC, and for each track, an ISRC. If you’ve added a UPC/EAN for a physical item, we’ll report the sale of that item to the charts instead of the digital sale (US and Canada only).
Additionally, SoundScan (US and Canada) requires that albums sell for at least $3.49 USD, and that single tracks be sold for at least $0.39 USD (or the equivalent in your currency). SoundScan also requires that we only report sales of physical items when they’ve been shipped. Please use the “marked as shipped” flag on your Merch Orders page to ensure sales of physical items are in fact reported to the charts.
In order to count toward Official Charts (UK and Ireland), albums must sell for at least £3.75 GBP, and tracks for at least £0.40 GBP (or equivalent). These sales must then be downloaded or streamed in order to be reported to the chart.
ARIA Charts and NZ Music Charts do not enforce any particular minimum price, and physical sales are reported under the attached digital UPC at the time of purchase.
