Is your account activated?
You can check if your fan account is activated by following another Bandcamp artist or fan, or by adding any item to your wishlist – if it's not activated, you will be prompted to verify your email. Here's what to do if you don't get the verification email.
Did you check out using an alternate payment email?
If you entered a different email address at checkout, one that hasn’t been linked to your fan account yet, you’ll need to link it in order for that purchase to show up in your collection. Linking an alternate payment email is simple! Log into your account, then visit > Settings > Fan.
Once you’ve added a new email, purchases made using that linked payment email will display in your collection. Magic!
Did you check out using PayPal, but the track/album you purchased isn’t in your collection, and you have not received a receipt email either?
If you checked out using PayPal, but you don’t see your purchase in your collection, and you didn't receive your receipt email where it was expected, it's possible your purchase was linked to your primary PayPal email. Even if you check out using an alternate email that is connected to your PayPal account, the receipt will be sent to the primary PayPal email.
In order to get that purchase added to your collection, just add that email to your account using the instructions in the previous section. You can also update your PayPal account’s primary email to the one that you use for Bandcamp purchases to avoid this in the future. See this helpful link from PayPal's support portal.
I can’t access that email account / the email I used had a typo in it!
Not to worry. In that case you'll just want to contact us, providing either the inaccessible email you used, or the link to the item you bought, as well as the URL of your fan account. We'll help get things sorted in no time.
