Bandcamp will assign a vinyl support representative (aka, a “vinyl rep”) as soon as you submit your campaign — even before, if you contact us when you begin setting up your campaign. Your vinyl rep is available to answer questions about setting up the physical package as well as to help plan your crowdfunding campaign, to help strategize with you on your prices and special tiers, etc.
If the campaign succeeds, they’ll coordinate on your behalf with manufacturers, handle logistics around shipment and approval of test pressings (no matter where you are in the world), and will also be available to help submit and approve artwork.
Bandcamp will also coordinate fulfillment of your records and handle all customer support issues from pledgers, including problems with credit cards, address changes, missing or damaged records, and any replacements.
Note about art and audio: your vinyl rep cannot help with audio mastering or art issues, aside from answering the most general questions. Feel free to ask, but you will almost certainly need a professional graphic artist and professional audio producer once your campaign succeeds. You don’t have to have printer-ready art or vinyl-mastered audio to START a campaign, but you do need it as soon as possible after it’s completed. You can even build the cost of graphic design and professional mastering into your crowdfunding goal.
