As an artist, your community page is a space for you to communicate directly with your fans. We want to ensure that your messages always reach fans, whether by email, the Bandcamp App, or on the community page itself, and so we request that fans follow you in order to receive your messages.
Fans are also asked to purchase one of your releases before they are able to leave comments on your messages. This helps foster a constructive and insightful conversation between artists and fans, and makes it less likely for you as an artist to receive abuse.
If you do receive an abusive comment on your community page, know that a) the hater had to pay you to post it, and b) we have made it easy to remove and report abuse.
