What happens if I'm a member of PRS and MCPS but I sell a track in another jurisdiction such as Australia? How will I receive my royalties?

Most collecting societies around the world have reciprocal agreements that enable each other to collect royalties on behalf of the other. In this scenario, the collection society share for the Australian sale would be passed to the local Australian society (APRA AMCOS). APRA AMCOS will then pass the relevant payments to PRS or MCPS, who will, in turn, pay you your net share after a society admin fee. A similar process would apply with regard to foreign sales.
