Do track/album codes expire?

You can edit your track or album after generating codes. The codes will still work, and any changes you make will automatically apply to all future fan downloads.

Can I make changes to my track or album after I’ve generated codes for it?

Indeed they do. This option is great for promotional releases, collector’s editions, remix bundles, exclusive content, etc.

Do codes work with private albums?

Because drafts are works-in-progress, they can’t be downloaded or streamed. After your album is published you’ll be able to generate codes...

Do codes work with album drafts?

Codes cannot be easily shared or misused. Each Bandcamp code allows only a limited number of downloads and expires after a short time to prevent unwanted downloads and unauthorized sharing.

Can someone share a code with others? How do I prevent unwanted downloads?

Bandcamp download codes are unique and for single-use only to track redemptions and collection adds. Multi-use codes are not supported, but you can create a discount code as an alternative.

Can I make a single code that multiple people can use?

No, you just do this (using MailChimp) or do this (using ConstantContact).
