If you need to update the PayPal account linked to your Bandcamp profile, head to your profile page via the user dropdown in the top toolbar and enter your new payment email under Payment Details. Make sure your new PayPal account has been set up correctly as a Business account – just follow the instructions here if you need help. Save all your changes at the bottom of the page, and you’ll be all set.
Please note: Bandcamp has begun transitioning to a new payment system (powered by Stripe). The rollout is happening in several stages and we will begin processing payments under this new structure in 2026. For the time being, PayPal remains the only way to be paid out. To ensure a smooth transition and avoid any interruptions to your payouts, we recommend updating to the new payment system as soon as possible after we get in touch with you with onboarding details.
