Bandcamp has partnered with EasyPost to build a shipping label feature to purchase postage and shipping for orders on Bandcamp.

Bandcamp artists and labels can now take advantage of EasyPost’s discount shipping rates and support for a large group of carriers directly from their Merch Orders page. Address information and package information are transferred automatically to EasyPost for accurate label generation and printing.

If you already have an EasyPost account, connecting it to your artist or label account on Bandcamp is easy.

If you don’t have one, no worries — you’ll be prompted to create one when you purchase your first shipping label. You can also create an EasyPost account from the Shipping Labels section of your accounts Tools page.

How paying for shipping labels works

There are several things to know about the Bandcamp/EasyPost integration, especially with regard to how purchases are funded.

  • To purchase a shipping label you must use the EasyPost “wallet” which functions similarly to a prepaid charge card. You fund the wallet from your own credit card - which you can do manually whenever you wish, or automatically whenever your balance falls below a customizable threshold. Note: Refunds on cancelled labels return to the wallet, not to your credit card.

  • If you don’t have an EasyPost account already and you want to use this Bandcamp/EasyPost integration, you should create your new account from the special EasyPost signup links within Bandcamp. (Details on that here.) Signing up that way speeds up credit card verification - which is essential if you sign up during your first attempt to purchase a shipping label.
